Ipswich Hydraulics was formed in 1978 to serve a rapidly expanding hydraulics market.
The early days were spent manufacturing hydraulic cylinders, pit props and systems for the mining and concrete products industries, where we became known for our quality and service.
On the back of an increasing customer base the company continued to grow steadily, and has gone from strength to strength.
We are proud of our broad customer base of over 400 companies most of which return to us time after time.
As well as gaining much experience over the years, there has also been continued investment in equipment and training.
Ipswich Hydraulics today has a strong team and takes advantage of modern facilities such as CAD/CAM for design, MRPII for production planning and has extensive CNC manufacturing facilities.
The company currently occupies three factories with about 14,000 sq feet of manufacturing space and employs sixteen people involved in a wide variety of projects, large and small.
The present day company manufactures high quality equipment, power packs, hydraulic cylinders, specialised manifold blocks, valve assemblies and is also heavily involved in the manufacture of full turn key industrial and infrastruture projects, special machinery and control systems.
