Ipswich Hydraulics specialise in the design and manufacture of hydraulic cylinders to customer and project specific specifications. We offer welded, tie rod and and mill type cylinders which are designed for special applications. Bore diameters up to 300mm are common, but we can produce larger.
We have vast experience in the manufacture of cylinders for arduous conditions, marine environments etc. We use a range of materials for specialist applications including complete Stainless 316 cylinders, cylinders with stainless chrome piston rods, Nickel under chrome (Nikrom 500) and 431S29 chrome rods and duplex S329

Cylinders can also inlcude internal and external position transducers on board control valves and manifolds.

We can also offer a standard range of hydraulic cylinders , to cover many industrial and marine applications . Available on sensible lead times. Give us a call to discuss

Our modern factory facilities which include CNC lathes, machining centres etc, ensure our cylinders are produced to a consistently high quality, at competitive prices.

We can cater for 1 off prototype work up to medium batch quantities. We are not a mass producer of low cost low quality products.

All Cylinders are 100% pressure tested on our test rig prior to despatch.
Test pressures can be up to 700BAR.

All our cylinders come with a 1 year warranty, but longer terms up to 3 and 4
years are common on many contracts these days.

Cylinders can be finish painted to most specifications, including shotblasting and painting with two pack epoxy paint systems to C4, C5M marine finsheds
